We're searching for radical designers and writers.
We're very open to hearing from capable and intelligent people who'd like to work for Radical Tea Towel! We're only a small team though, and don't normally have full time positions available.
Design
Right now, we're particularly keen to hear from freelance designers who can help us expand our collection of tea towels and other products. One element of this is making brand new designs according to a brief, and another is to work with our existing tea towel library but expanding the designs to new products such as aprons and coasters. If you or someone you know is interested in this, please ask them to email luke[at]radicalteatowel.com with some examples of their work. An interest in the radical history subject matter is essential.
Marketing
We're also keen to hear from people interested in helping us promote Radical Tea Towel (and Town Towels, our new sister site!). If you have experience writing promotional emails or working with online advertising (Facebook, Google etc), that's a good start. But be warned: Radical Tea Towel is an educational, human and unique brand. Generalist marketing knowledge, impersonal copywriting and overly-salesy tactics won't work. In 2021, we launched our Radical History Youtube channel. We're keen to find script researchers and writers who are really prepared to get stuck in to the material and work closely with our writing director, with the goal being to bring inspiring stories to a new audience.
