RTT cofounder Bea explores her love of historical fiction I’ve always loved a good historical novel. For me, they’re the perfect combination of fact and fiction: the events of history woven into a compelling narrative.

On Saturday 8th September, three valiant members of the Radical Tea Towel team, Tim, Bea and Luke, plus Luke's brother Adam and Moss the dog, ventured forth in the wind and rain to find the cave on Mynydd Llangynidr, high on the moors above the village of Trefil, in Blaenau Gwent, South Wales...

My mother, , was a radical. A liberal, a feminist, a socialist. A fiercely loyal mother and grandmother. You'd always hear her sticking up for the downtrodden, whoever and wherever they were. She spoke her mind, but was polite about it.
