This design on this fabric face mask is inspired by the Suffragette colours of purple, green and white which were adopted in 1908 by the WSPU in their fight for votes for women. The colours were described as white for purity, purple for dignity and self-respect and green for hope and new life.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) says face masks should be worn in public where social distancing is not possible to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

It is essential that wearers of cloth face masks still observe social distancing and wash their hands regularly, and cloth masks cannot guarantee protection for the wearer.

This colourful fabric face mask is made with 3 pleated layers of 200 gsm cotton and measures approx 21.5cm x 13.5cm. The middle layer is made of a close woven blue fabric with hydrophobic and antibacterial finish. Digital printing on high quality, natural fabric using reactive inks, means it will not only have excellent wash fastness and colour vibrancy but also the inks conform to relevant standards meaning there are no harmful chemicals being breathed in. The mask is attached with 2 elastic loops measuring 25 x 0.8cm which fit round the ears and which may be adjusted using the 2 toggles, allowing for flexibility and comfort. Also comes with a flexible metal nose piece for a close fit, which should be removed before washing. Spare nose piece included. Machine or hand wash at 40-60º after each use using detergent to kill any virus. Short spin. Dry naturally, preferably in direct sunlight.     Wish there were more designs

    I bought this (and a beautiful green one inspired by a painting) in September 2021. I absolutely love them. They cover my face securely, so I don't have to worry about them slipping. And the metal strip for over the nose help keep my glasses in place over the mask, so they don't steam up. However, only having two isn't great as, obviously, they need washing and I'd really like some other designs.

    Good quality but rather large although adjustable the drawstrings are a bit clumsy and have no idea what to do with the metal bit. Needs instructions
