Why not test yourself on your labour movement history next time you challenge your friends to a card game? Our pack of International Labour Movement poker playing cards picks out larger-than-life characters from the past (mostly) such as George Loveless (Tolpuddle Martyr), Ken Saro-Wiwa (Nigerian environmental activist), Louis Delescluze (military commander of the Paris Commune), and Ellen Wilkinson (women's rights pioneer), divided into the following categories:

Diamonds: Philosophers

Clubs: Trade Unionists

Hearts: Politicians

Spades: Activists

Jokers: Fictional Labour Heroes (taken from two great radical writers, and definitely to be taken seriously!)

Pack includes 2 extra cards with an index of the four suits.

    International Labour Movement playing cards

I'm not very knowledgeable about history, so your items are great for me to learn more about people and events which have shaped these islands. I'm not much of a card player but I couldn't resist a pack of your cards, which will give me an idea about which historical figures I want to find out more about.
