This image on this tea towel is based on a stunning poster produced in 1941 to motivate the allies to fight for victory.
The image shows two groups of armed marching soldiers, one from each of the countries allied to fight Germany, Japan, and Italy, facing a giant V for victory composed of the flags of each of the countries allied in the fight.
The countries depicted are:
Right to Left - First Row: Britain, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Second Row: Southern Rhodesia, Newfoundland, South Africa, Third Row: India, Fourth Row: The Colonial Empire"
Left to Right - First Row: U.S.A., China, U.S.S.R., Yugoslavia, Second Row: Holland, France, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Third Row: Greece, Norway, Belgium".

Half Panama unbleached cotton (heavy weight, textured finish). Stitched on all four sides. Includes hanging loop. Measures approximately 48cm x 70cm. Machine wash at 40 degrees max. We recommend that before you use your tea towel for the first time you wash it at least once to soften up the material and make it more absorbent for drying dishes. Please note size can vary slightly.
