This set of button badges features four designs based on authentic women's suffrage badges from the early 20th century. The movement for political equality for women was headed by the Women’s Social and Political Union (WSPU), founded in 1903 by Emmeline Pankhurst and her daughters. Their efforts eventually saw women get full voting rights in 1928.
